Oud, or agarwood, is a woody resin with a deep, smoky, sometimes animalic or leathery scent. In niche perfumery it rarely stands alone: it is paired with rose, saffron, patchouli, fruit or vanilla to round it out. Oud perfumes are powerful and tenacious, suited to evenings, special occasions and the colder months. This collection runs from soft, approachable interpretations to the densest versions.
