Old Mafia

by Véronique Nyberg
An enveloping oud, between incense, spices, and deep warmth. Oud Mafia is inspired by the idea of a blend and meeting of different cultures, like an atmosphere where everything intertwines: spices, woods, smoke, warmth.

The Fragrance

Oud Mafia revolves around oud, but not in a raw way. It's integrated into something larger, richer, almost like an atmosphere. The ambiance is warm, enveloping, with a sense of incense that gives it an almost spiritual, slightly mysterious side. Spices like saffron and nutmeg provide a vibrant opening, adding dimension and a lively touch. Then everything becomes deeper, more textured, with a woody and slightly earthy base. Vetiver and patchouli bring an anchored, almost dry sensation, balancing the warmth and preventing the perfume from becoming too heavy.

The brand

Morph is an Italian niche perfumery house founded in Naples in 2013 by Andrea Angelino. Its premise is simple and radical: a perfume must have character, depth, and its own identity. The name says it all. Morph, like metamorphosis, represents that perpetual movement between what one is and what one becomes. The bottle, produced by Bormioli Luigi, one of Italy's most renowned glassmakers, embodies this idea: a vertical rectangular silhouette, a three-dimensional logo that seems frozen in motion, and a glossy silver cap symbolizing transformation. It is an object that conveys the brand's philosophy even before it is opened. The house is organized into three collections with distinct territories. The Luxury Collection offers compositions that are both intense and refined, designed to last. The Exclusifs push concentration even further, towards perfume extracts that reveal their multiple facets on the skin over hours. The Ice Collection explores a fresher, more energetic territory, for those seeking vibrancy rather than depth. Morph collaborates with renowned perfumers, including Douglas Morel, Sofia Bardelli, Véronique Nyberg, and Christian Carbonnel. A Neapolitan house that has nothing in common with perfumes that all smell alike.
