The fragrance

Created by Caroline Dumur, a French perfumer known for her work on gourmand and oriental accords, this perfume reveals a composition where the richness of Mediterranean traditions meets contemporary elegance.

From the first notes, Rue d'Alger unveils a burst of precious spices. Cardamom brings a refined aromatic freshness, while pink pepper and oriental spices create a warm, compelling aura, like the first moments of a stroll through bustling streets.

At the heart of the fragrance, the majesty of Damask rose meets the mysterious depth of oud and the spirituality of incense. A sophisticated accord where floral nobility blends with precious woods, recalling the old perfumers' shops and the hidden treasures of the souks.

In the base, the cocooning softness of sandalwood, the warmth of amber and the purity of white musk extend the trail. A deep, elegant and comforting signature that leaves a lasting imprint on the skin.

The brand

Ever since childhood, frequent stays in hospital trained my sense of smell to a whole range of contrasting odours: the clinical harshness of antiseptics set against the comforting warmth of familiar scents, the soft leather of my parents' jackets, the discreet trail of their eau de toilette on my feverish skin.

Each scent spoke of a presence, of comfort, a scented caress against anxiety. Those years of hardship forged in me a resilience that first found expression through urban art: the liberating gesture of graffiti, the honest rhythms of hip-hop, the bold codes of streetwear.

Then, two years ago, a tumour diagnosis made one thing clear: I had to turn this sensory heritage into a heartfelt creation.
