Dom Rosa

by Sonia Constant

A rose that sparkles like champagne, between festive freshness and elegant depth. Dom Rosa suggests a rose celebrated like a grand cru, almost like a rosé champagne.

The fragrance

Dom Rosa feels like a glass that has just been poured, with fine, bright bubbles rising to the surface. This sparkling opening brings something festive, almost joyful, far from the classic rose.

Then the fragrance deepens. The rose takes centre stage, but it is handled differently: darker, lightly spiced and crossed by a touch of incense that gives it character. This is not a soft or romantic rose but a more intense one, almost intoxicating.

Over time the fragrance settles onto dry, elegant woods that add structure and longevity. The whole creates a sophisticated mood, between sparkling freshness and woody depth, a blend of celebration and elegance.

The brand

Liquides Imaginaires is a French artistic perfume house founded in 2012 by Philippe Di Méo, a designer, and David Frossard, Artistic Director. In Antiquity, perfume was addressed to the gods before it was addressed to people. It is this original dimension, sacred and transformative, that Philippe Di Méo seeks to restore. Each collection bears a name that refers to the invisible world. Les Eaux Delà, because perfume has always been what crosses over, what passes to the other side. Les Eaux de Peau, because before language, human beings communicated through scent, through skin, through the animal they still were. Les Eaux Sanguines, because wine and blood share the same colour and the same sacred intoxication. Les Eaux de l'Est, because the incense and spice routes shaped perfumery long before Grasse. And Les Eaux Imaginaires call on the great maps of desire, from the Carte de Tendre to the geographies invented by literature. Three perfumes per collection, always. For Philippe Di Méo, the number three is perfect balance: body, soul, mind. Past, present, future. Each bottle, designed like an ancient vessel with gold or silver stoppers, is a ritual object in itself. He describes his creations as talismans in the literal sense: objects charged with power, able to open something in the person who wears them.
