Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle was founded in 2000 on a simple yet radical conviction. Frédéric Malle, grandson of the founder of Parfums Christian Dior, a former evaluator at Givaudan, and trained in art history and photography, began with an observation: the world’s greatest perfumers work behind the scenes, constrained by marketing briefs, limited budgets and imposed deadlines.
