Chocolate in perfumery
Chocolate and cocoa bring a bitter, powdery, warm facet, darker than caramel. In a small touch, they add depth to a rose or a patchouli; as the main note, they build rich gourmands, often backed by vanilla, coffee, spices or oud. It is a note for autumn and for evenings.
