The Jousset house
Jousset Parfums was born in 2020 in the Swiss flat of Jimmy Bodin and his partner Melis, who began by making small artisanal batches for friends and family. The brand bears the name of Jimmy’s mother, who passed on to him her love of fine perfume; from his father, he inherited the conviction that everything is built with your own hands. Self-taught, with no perfumery school or stint at a major house behind him, he works on instinct, through trial and error, composing only what he loves: fragrances you would almost want to taste. He gave this signature a name, Ultra-Gourmand™. Where the classic gourmand often settles for sweetness, Jousset builds it like an oud fragrance, layer by layer, balancing sweetness with depth, at high concentrations. Each creation recreates a precise, almost edible memory. Since 2023, production has been based in France, in an independent workshop in La Mézière, Brittany, the founder’s home town.

Which Jousset fragrance should I choose?
Vanilla devotees should start with Accident à la Vanille. Coffee lovers will go for Café Affogato, pistachio lovers for Ciao Bello Pistachio and chocolate fans for Delicious Black Powder. Belle Hélène brings a fruity touch with its pear. For a more Oriental, spicy gourmand, African Queen and Gourmand Bakhoor add warmth and depth. The whole collection is unisex.
