The fragrance

As soon as it opens, honey and pineapple dance together, creating an instant tropical sweetness. You are won over in the first few seconds, transported to a garden in bloom under the sun.
At the heart, rose blooms in full. Magnolia and jasmine wind around it, delicate petals. Cocoa arrives sweet and creamy, bringing an unexpected chocolatey richness. Amber gradually warms everything, creating a warm, sweet base.
In the base, patchouli asserts itself, rich and earthy, keeping things from becoming too airy. Sandalwood adds a soft creaminess. Vetiver adds a green, herbaceous roughness that grounds it. Everything balances between gourmand and earthy. It is a harmonious composition, true to its name.

The brand

Attar Al Has is a perfume house founded in Istanbul in 2021 by Ersin Bas and Sinan Karakas. Its name refers to the tradition of the ‘attar’, the artisan perfumer who extracts, distils and blends raw materials using age-old techniques. The house follows this heritage without trying to reproduce it identically. It develops a contemporary style drawing on references from oriental perfumery. Its positioning rests on a meeting point between different olfactory cultures. Heir to a territory historically situated between East and West, Attar Al Has builds its fragrances by pairing emblematic raw materials such as oud, amber, saffron or spices with more modern structures. The compositions are developed with perfumers from varied backgrounds, from both European and Middle Eastern perfumery, so as to cross approaches rather than set them against each other. This principle also carries through to the bottle design, inspired by Ottoman decorative codes. Conceived as crafted objects, the bottles extend the attention paid to materials and craftsmanship. Attar Al Has thus develops a perfumery built on historical references, while placing them in a contemporary setting.
