The fragrance

Belle Hélène captures that elegant kind of indulgence where the sweetness of fruit meets the richness of chocolate.

The fragrance opens on a juicy fruity note reminiscent of ripe, sweet pear. It quickly turns more gourmand as chocolate appears, bringing a soft, slightly melting depth. Over time, the composition becomes cosier thanks to vanilla nuances that soften the whole.

The result is a refined gourmand perfume that recalls the meeting of fresh fruit and the comforting sweetness of a chocolate dessert.

The brand

Jousset Parfums is a French niche perfume house founded in 2020 by Jimmy Bodin and his partner Melis in their flat in Switzerland, in small handmade batches first shared with friends and family. The brand bears the name of Jimmy’s late mother, who passed on her love of fine fragrance and whose passion he has carried as a legacy. His father taught him something else: that everything is built with your own hands. Those two legacies sit at the heart of what Jousset makes. Jimmy Bodin is self-taught. No academic training, no time spent at a classic house. His method is one of instinct, precision through repeated trials and total honesty about what he loves. And what he loves are fragrances you almost feel you could taste. He named his signature Ultra-Gourmand™, a category he invented and that is entirely his own. Where classic gourmands often stay in a generic sweet register, Jousset’s Ultra-Gourmand is built like an oud perfume: layer after layer, material upon material, sweetness balanced by depth. Accident À La Vanille, La Tarte Tatin, Gourmand Bakhoor, Ciao Bello Pistachio: each creation recreates a precise, almost edible memory, at a concentration well above market standards. Since 2023, production has moved back to France, to an independent workshop in La Mézière, in Brittany, Jimmy’s home town. A brand built from nothing, by hand, that has made its way into 60 boutiques across 12 countries in under five years.
