Tiger’s eye

by Not specified

The spices come first, hot and fiery, almost volcanic. Bergamot crackles, letting some air into the heat. It is a bold, masculine opening. Lily of the valley, freesia and iris arrive at the heart as an elegant contrast: delicate florals that hold their ground and refuse to give way to the harsh spice. Robust tobacco emerges in the base, wrapped in smooth cashmere wood and dry cedarwood. Amber warms. Musk embraces. Moss soothes. Raw yet refined, spicy yet harmonious. Powerful and very long-lasting.

The fragrance

Hot, burning spices, almost volcanic, intense and magnetic. Bergamot lights it up subtly, creating a fresh-warm contrast. It is a bold olfactory slap: virile, powerful, gripping.
At the heart, a delicate floral harmony unfolds. Lily of the valley arrives light and white. Freesia soothes delicately. Iris adds a powdery, green touch. These florals create an elegant counterpoint: they refuse to disappear, but they also refuse to dominate. They humanise the raw spice.
In the base, robust tobacco emerges, recalling the glowing embers of old coals. Cashmere wood joins in, smooth and warm. Dry cedarwood gives structure. Amber warms gradually. Musk wraps around it, lasting. Moss adds a final earthy greenness.

The brand

Attar Al Has is a perfume house founded in Istanbul in 2021 by Ersin Bas and Sinan Karakas. Its name refers to the tradition of the ‘attar’, the artisan perfumer who extracts, distils and blends raw materials using age-old techniques. The house follows this heritage without trying to reproduce it identically. It develops a contemporary style drawing on references from oriental perfumery. Its positioning rests on a meeting point between different olfactory cultures. Heir to a territory historically situated between East and West, Attar Al Has builds its fragrances by pairing emblematic raw materials such as oud, amber, saffron or spices with more modern structures. The compositions are developed with perfumers from varied backgrounds, from both European and Middle Eastern perfumery, so as to cross approaches rather than set them against each other. This principle also carries through to the bottle design, inspired by Ottoman decorative codes. Conceived as crafted objects, the bottles extend the attention paid to materials and craftsmanship. Attar Al Has thus develops a perfumery built on historical references, while placing them in a contemporary setting.
