The fragrance

The fragrance sets out to recreate the feel of a smooth custard topped with a thin layer of freshly torched caramelised sugar. The mood is warm, soft and comforting, like the sweet smell drifting out of a patisserie. The scent opens on a sugary, slightly milky softness that recalls warm cream. Caramel and vanilla notes soon build, giving a rich, gourmand feel. With time, the fragrance becomes more comforting and creamy, leaving a sweet, soft, almost pastry-like sillage. The result is a very cosy perfume, designed to capture the indulgence and pleasure of a refined dessert.

The brand

Jonathan Blanc is a French perfume house founded by a man whose story begins long before perfume. The latest generation in a line of exceptional leather craftsmen, Jonathan Blanc grew up surrounded by precious leathers. That heritage of beauty and rarity shapes everything he does. It was almost by accident that he discovered agarwood, the mystical wood revered for centuries in the East. He became an importer of agarwood, supplying perfumers and connoisseurs. Two years spent travelling across the Emirates gave him a new perspective: seeing French savoir-faire from the outside, from a world where noble raw materials reign supreme. This is how he created, with perfumer Adrien Lacape, Délicieuse crème brûlée, signed by Adrien Lacape, which opens on caramel and brown sugar before melting into deep Madagascan vanilla and tonka bean. In 2025, Jonathan Blanc broke new ground with Neige de Koh Samui, entrusted to master perfumer Christian Carbonnel, bringing together tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit and watermelon, which then settle on a milky heart of rice pudding and coconut, with a caramel vanilla in the base. Gourmand fragrances, precise, bearing the mark of a man for whom raw materials have never been abstract.
