Thomas de Monaco is an independent perfume house founded in Zurich in 2020 by its eponymous creator, a Franco-Swiss art director and photographer. For over twenty years, Thomas de Monaco has shaped the visual language of leading luxury brands such as Dior, Hermès, YSL, Armani, Cartier, and Rolex, working between Paris, New York, and Zurich. The discovery of the Helmut Lang collection marked a true turning point: a contemporary line, imbued with a subtle retro spirit, which continues to influence his work today. Fragrance then became another medium, the only one where the final image is not delivered by the creator but constructed entirely in the wearer's imagination. Located in the heart of a former Gustave Eiffel factory in Zurich, the house designs its perfumes at an artisanal pace, far from industrial constraints. Each extract is developed in close collaboration with perfumer Maurus Bachmann, under the creative direction of Thomas de Monaco. This is the essence of the house: "A designer house built on the conviction that perfume is not worn; it completes you."
