The Fragrance

Kaya has a modern, bright, and alluring signature. The idea is to create a vibrant fragrance that captivates from the start but remains elegant over time. From the opening, a very pleasant fruity freshness is felt, with a juicy and slightly sweet sensation that brings energy. The overall impression is bright, almost sparkling, with a clean feel. Then, the fragrance evolves into something softer and more rounded, with a slightly creamy texture that provides comfort and fluidity. Over time, Kaya becomes more enveloping and subtle. The notes take on a warmer and slightly musky dimension, with a softness that settles on the skin. The base remains elegant, clean, and slightly gourmand, with a modern and easy-to-wear signature that leaves a soft and addictive impression.

The brand

Parfums d'Elmar is a Swiss house founded by Elmar Métry, whose family crest adorns the logo of each bottle. His initial ambition was to create a house where luxury would not be a marketing promise but a tangible reality: the rarest ingredients, the highest concentration, and the most meticulously crafted object possible. The brand's unique technical feature is its 35% concentration of fragrant essences, which it calls the Quintessence de Parfum. Whereas a classic perfume extract typically ranges between 20 and 30%, Parfums d'Elmar pushes this logic to its extreme to ensure a deep and long-lasting presence on the skin. To compose these creations, the house partnered with Mark Buxton, born in England, trained in Hamburg, and based in Paris, where he has been in love with the city for over twenty years. Author of the very first Comme des Garçons perfume in 1994, and having signed for Givenchy, Cartier, Paco Rabanne, and Le Labo, Buxton is known for his motto: "Simplicity is the ultimate degree of luxury." His style, characterized by short, concentrated formulas where every note has a purpose, is directly in tune with Elmar Métry's demanding standards. The bottles themselves are cut from hand-polished crystal, topped with gold-plated caps adorned with over 360 crystals.
