The fragrance

The opening crackles with juicy, generous peach, almost liquid. Coconut arrives instantly, creating a creamy tropical layer around it. Orange adds a light sting and some brightness. It is voluptuous, sweet without being a caricature, fruity without feeling synthetic. Instantly comforting.
At the heart, osmanthus blooms sweet and appetising, a unique trait. Turkish rose arrives tender and graceful. Freesia adds a lightness that is slightly herbaceous and green. Iris adds a delicate creaminess. Lily of the valley completes it with white floral finesse. These florals refuse to weigh things down: they dance around the creamy fruit.
In the base, caramelised praline gradually settles in. Vanilla wraps everything in creamy softness. Sandalwood smooths and opens its arms. Amber warms discreetly. Cedarwood adds a slight dry, woody roughness. Musk wraps around it, animalic but sweet. It is a sweet, luxurious dream.

The brand

Attar Al Has is a perfume house founded in Istanbul in 2021 by Ersin Bas and Sinan Karakas. Its name refers to the tradition of the ‘attar’, the artisan perfumer who extracts, distils and blends raw materials using age-old techniques. The house follows this heritage without trying to reproduce it identically. It develops a contemporary style drawing on references from oriental perfumery. Its positioning rests on a meeting point between different olfactory cultures. Heir to a territory historically situated between East and West, Attar Al Has builds its fragrances by pairing emblematic raw materials such as oud, amber, saffron or spices with more modern structures. The compositions are developed with perfumers from varied backgrounds, from both European and Middle Eastern perfumery, so as to cross approaches rather than set them against each other. This principle also carries through to the bottle design, inspired by Ottoman decorative codes. Conceived as crafted objects, the bottles extend the attention paid to materials and craftsmanship. Attar Al Has thus develops a perfumery built on historical references, while placing them in a contemporary setting.
