The apple arrives fresh and fruity, pricked by black pepper and pimento berries. The saffron comes in spicy and dry. Rose dominates the heart, beautiful and generous, wrapped in creamy orange blossom and subtle broom. Amber warms things up gradually. Cedarwood, patchouli and opoponax round it off with a soft, woody, earthy finish.

The fragrance

The opening crackles with spice and fruit. The apple arrives sweet and fruity, instantly pricked by bright black pepper and pimento berries. Saffron adds a dry, light spice. It is a balanced entrance: fruity but structured, never naive. You are woken up, not overwhelmed.
The heart tips towards rose. It dominates, beautiful and generous, neither powdery nor too synthetic. This is a real rose. Orange blossom comes in creamy and white, supporting the rose without eclipsing it. Broom adds a subtle herbaceous green. Amber arrives gradually, warming everything and bringing roundness. This is where the fragrance turns warm and sensual.
The base settles slowly. Cedarwood asserts itself, dry and woody. Patchouli arrives earthy and slightly sweet. Opoponax brings a soft resin. Oud wood resonates deep, adding an oriental aura without dominating. Vanilla creates a long-lasting sweet comfort. Musk wraps around it all.

The brand

Attar Al Has is a perfume house founded in Istanbul in 2021 by Ersin Bas and Sinan Karakas. Its name refers to the tradition of the ‘attar’, the artisan perfumer who extracts, distils and blends raw materials using age-old techniques. The house follows this heritage without trying to reproduce it identically. It develops a contemporary style drawing on references from oriental perfumery. Its positioning rests on a meeting point between different olfactory cultures. Heir to a territory historically situated between East and West, Attar Al Has builds its fragrances by pairing emblematic raw materials such as oud, amber, saffron or spices with more modern structures. The compositions are developed with perfumers from varied backgrounds, from both European and Middle Eastern perfumery, so as to cross approaches rather than set them against each other. This principle also carries through to the bottle design, inspired by Ottoman decorative codes. Conceived as crafted objects, the bottles extend the attention paid to materials and craftsmanship. Attar Al Has thus develops a perfumery built on historical references, while placing them in a contemporary setting.
