Pistachio in perfumery
Pistachio is a recent arrival in perfumery and has made its mark through contrast: a creamy, almost milky softness over a lightly toasted, salty base. Depending on the dosage, it gives an outright gourmand, like ice cream or pastry, or a drier, more vegetal note that leans towards green almond.
