Rouge Burlat

by Chris Maurice

A juicy, addictive cherry, between fruity sparkle and a sweetness that clings to the skin. Rouge Burlat by Phenom tells of a lively, carnal gourmand treat, like ripe fruit picked at the height of summer, still warm and sweet.

The fragrance

Rouge Burlat puts cherry at the heart of a generous composition, both joyful and sensual.

From the opening, the fragrance bursts with a sparkling citrus freshness laced with a very juicy fruity facet. The feeling is immediate: bright, sweet, almost addictive, like the first bite of ripe fruit.

The fragrance then broadens with a rich, pulpy heart dominated by cherry, apricot and peach. Everything becomes rounder and more carnal, with a fruity sweetness that is unashamedly gourmand.

Over time, Rouge Burlat settles into a warm, cosy base. Caramel and tonka bean bring a sweet, lightly creamy depth, while oakmoss balances the whole with a more structured touch. It becomes soft, addictive and very comforting, like a sweet memory that lingers on the skin.

The brand

Phenom is a perfume house founded in 2024, born of a singular obsession: the smell of natural phenomena. Where others marvelled at the power of a storm, its founder remembered its smell, that electrifying mix of charged air and damp earth. He did not want those moments to evaporate. The idea for Phenom grew from there: to capture in a bottle the essence of the storms, tides, dawns and fires that mark our lives. Each perfume in the collection turns a natural phenomenon into an emotion you can smell. To compose these sensory pictures, Phenom brought in two perfumers with complementary backgrounds. Chris Maurice, from one of the most prestigious families in Spanish perfumery, signs five of the six creations. Nathalie Feisthauer, who went on to work for Hermès and Cartier before founding her own studio in Montmartre, composed the last in the range. A house built on the conviction that perfume can be the most faithful memory of a moment lived.
