How to wear it

Apply two or three sprays to the neck and wrists, plus one on fabric to make the warmer notes last. Apply it to moisturised skin for better hold, and go lighter in the heat.

The fragrance

Paramour offers something warm, close and emotional, almost intimate. It is a fragrance that draws people in, reassures and leaves its mark.

From the opening, you feel a bright, fruity sweetness, juicy and lightly sugared, that catches the attention at once. Very quickly, the fragrance turns creamier and more gourmand, with a velvety texture that brings real comfort and warmth. The whole stays elegant, with a well-judged balance between softness and depth.

As it wears, Paramour reveals a more sensual, addictive side. Warm notes such as vanilla and tobacco grow in strength, adding a smooth, slightly smoky depth. The base becomes richer and rounder, with a signature that settles on the skin for a long time.

The brand

Oman Luxury is a niche perfume house founded in 2012 in Muscat by three Omanis, Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed, brought together by a shared passion for fragrance and the belief that their country had something unique to offer the world. Oman is no ordinary country in the history of perfume. The Dhofar region, in the south of the sultanate, is home to Boswellia sacra, the finest and rarest frankincense tree on the planet, whose steep mountains and limestone soil are the only conditions on earth in which it can thrive. Omanis burn this frankincense to welcome a guest, to celebrate a birth, or simply before leaving the house. Fragrance there is not an accessory, it is a language. It was on this ground that Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed set out to build their house. Rather than stick to the codes of traditional Oriental perfumery, they chose to work with some of the greatest international noses to translate this heritage into contemporary compositions: Dominique Ropion, Maurice Roucel and Jean-Louis Sieuzac, among others. These rare collaborations give Oman Luxury a depth unusual for an independent house of its size. This is a perfume house that does not try to imitate the East to win over the West, but speaks from within it, with all the precision and ambition of contemporary luxury.
