Overdose sets out to push contrasts as far as they will go, creating a fragrance that is both punchy and structured, where intensity becomes a signature.

From the opening, the fragrance delivers a bright, spicy freshness, energetic and slightly sharp, that grabs your attention at once. This bold first impression gives it a dynamic, almost electric feel. Then the fragrance moves towards something denser and more textured, where woody facets start to appear, bringing depth and a more serious side.

As the hours pass, Overdose settles into a darker, more cocooning base. The notes turn warmer and slightly smoky, with a powerful, lasting presence on the skin. The fragrance holds that tension between freshness and depth right to the end, but in a more intense, more assertive form, leaving a strong, elegant and unmistakably present signature.

Oman Luxury is a niche perfume house founded in 2012 in Muscat by three Omanis, Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed, brought together by a shared passion for fragrance and the belief that their country had something unique to offer the world. Oman is no ordinary country in the history of perfume. The Dhofar region, in the south of the sultanate, is home to Boswellia sacra, the finest and rarest frankincense tree on the planet, whose steep mountains and limestone soil are the only conditions on earth in which it can thrive. Omanis burn this frankincense to welcome a guest, to celebrate a birth, or simply before leaving the house. Fragrance there is not an accessory, it is a language. It was on this ground that Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed set out to build their house. Rather than stick to the codes of traditional Oriental perfumery, they chose to work with some of the greatest international noses to translate this heritage into contemporary compositions: Dominique Ropion, Maurice Roucel and Jean-Louis Sieuzac, among others. These rare collaborations give Oman Luxury a depth unusual for an independent house of its size. This is a perfume house that does not try to imitate the East to win over the West, but speaks from within it, with all the precision and ambition of contemporary luxury.
