Dead Air

by Mark Buxton

Violet leaf opens on a green, slightly metallic freshness. Davana brings a dark fruity facet, while freesia softens the whole with a clear floral touch. At the heart, narcissus grows more intense. Lovage adds a raw, green aromatic edge. Cistus and a salty accord bring a resinous, mineral tension. In the base, date softens the composition. Oak, opoponax, vetiver, patchouli and Atlas cedar form a woody, earthy, dry base. Dead Air moves between salty freshness, raw greenery and resinous depth.

The fragrance

Violet leaf opens the composition with a green, slightly metallic freshness. Davana brings a fruity, dark, liqueur-like facet. Freesia softens it all with a bright floral touch. The opening is fresh, green and slightly saline.
At the heart, narcissus reveals a more intense floral character. Lovage brings a green, almost wild aromatic quality. Cistus spreads a resinous warmth while the salt accord extends the mineral feel. The fragrance gradually gains depth.
In the base, date brings a discreet sweetness. Oak wood structures the composition. Opoponax enriches the base with balsamic nuances. Vetiver, patchouli and Atlas cedarwood build a woody, earthy, dry signature. Dead Air moves between saline freshness, raw greenery and resinous depth.
