The fragrance

Gate17 carries us through an interdimensional portal, with a feeling that is soft, luminous and almost unreal. Bergamot brings a clear freshness from the start, quickly softened by a warmer, slightly honeyed texture thanks to beeswax. It stays light but already feels cosy.

The fragrance then becomes smoother and more elegant, as iris and musks give a slightly powdery, very 'clean skin' effect. Marine notes add an airy side, like a breeze running through the composition and keeping it light.

Over time, vanilla and vetiver lay down a soft, more grounded warmth. The fragrance becomes creamier while keeping that luminous, fluid softness.

The brand

Morph is an Italian niche perfume house founded in Naples in 2013 by Andrea Angelino. Its premise is simple and radical: a perfume must have character, depth and an identity of its own. The name says it all. Morph as in metamorphosis, that perpetual movement between who we are and who we become. The bottle, made by Bormioli Luigi, one of Italy's most renowned master glassmakers, embodies this idea: a tall rectangular silhouette, a three-dimensional logo that seems frozen mid-movement and a shiny silver cap symbolising transformation. An object that carries the brand's philosophy before it is even opened. The house is organised into three collections, each with its own territory. The Luxury Collection offers compositions that are both intense and refined, made to last.
