How to wear it

Keep it to two or three sprays: neck, wrists and one on a scarf or collar to stretch the warm notes. Moisturised skin helps it last; when it is very hot, a single spray will do.

The fragrance

Blanche Bête is inspired by a mythical creature, pure on the surface but with a more animal, mysterious side.

In the first few seconds you feel a creamy softness, almost like warm milk, very cocooning and comforting. Then the white flowers arrive, mainly tuberose and jasmine, bringing a more intense sensuality that is still softened by that milky texture. Over time the fragrance grows warmer and more addictive, with vanilla, musk and tonka bean giving a clean-skin effect, slightly sweet and very comforting.

The result is a very cosy yet sensual perfume, somewhere between softness, warmth and something almost 'animal', but clean and controlled.

The brand

Liquides Imaginaires is a French artistic perfume house founded in 2012 by Philippe Di Méo, a designer, and David Frossard, Artistic Director. In Antiquity, perfume was addressed to the gods before it was addressed to people. It is this original dimension, sacred and transformative, that Philippe Di Méo seeks to restore. Each collection bears a name that refers to the invisible world. Les Eaux Delà, because perfume has always been what crosses over, what passes to the other side. Les Eaux de Peau, because before language, human beings communicated through scent, through skin, through the animal they still were. Les Eaux Sanguines, because wine and blood share the same colour and the same sacred intoxication. Les Eaux de l'Est, because the incense and spice routes shaped perfumery long before Grasse. And Les Eaux Imaginaires call on the great maps of desire, from the Carte de Tendre to the geographies invented by literature. Three perfumes per collection, always. For Philippe Di Méo, the number three is perfect balance: body, soul, mind. Past, present, future. Each bottle, designed like an ancient vessel with gold or silver stoppers, is a ritual object in itself. He describes his creations as talismans in the literal sense: objects charged with power, able to open something in the person who wears them.
