The Stéphane Humbert Lucas house
Stéphane Humbert Lucas is a Parisian perfume house founded in 2012 by its eponymous creator. It all began in the south of France, where he studied painting under a Flemish master, specialised in the tempera technique and developed an obsession with the combination of pigments and their texture. It was through painting that he discovered his synaesthesia: for him, seeing colours triggers the sense of smell. He does not see himself as an inventor of fragrances, but as a matchmaker who invites materials to come together.
The 777 collection draws on his travels in the Middle East, a land he considers the cradle of the universe. The number 7, repeated three times, symbolises perfection, excellence and self-realisation. In 2022, he launched the Serpent collection, inspired by tales and legends from around the world. Each composition is born from a mental canvas where colours, sounds and poetry intertwine, before condensing into a fragrance built around precious, often rare materials.

God Of Fire: green mango and ginger at the top, jasmine and amber at the heart, oud and musk at the base.

Khol de Bahrein: caramelised resins and violet, followed by a dense, powdery iris on sandalwood.

Soleil de Jeddah L’Original: a white-gold sun, radiant and creamy, that wraps the skin in light.
Soleil de Jeddah Mango Kiss: juicy mango and tangy mandarin, chamomile and orange blossom.
Taklamakan: bergamot, osmanthus and neroli, with a heart of Indian patchouli and Chinese cedar, followed by vanilla.
The Queen and the Viper: bergamot and peppermint, blackcurrant and incense, with notes of blond tobacco and saffron in the base.
