At Miles Wambaugh, each fragrance extends one of the painter’s canvases, put into a bottle by two of the greatest perfumers of their generation. Coup d’État, Hot Shot and Sure Shot are waiting for you at Sayhar, in our boutique in the 8th arrondissement, or online.
The Miles Wambaugh House
Miles Wambaugh is a French-American artist, born in Paris in 1965 to a Parisian mother and a Bostonian father, a musician and writer. He grew up in a household where art was a second language, then settled in the Baie de Somme, where he lives to the rhythm of nature, birdwatching and hunting. For him, art is man added to nature: his perfume house was born of that conviction. Pierre Dinand, designer of the bottles for Opium, Dune and Amarige, backed him and introduced him to two legendary perfumers: Dominique Ropion, who composed Portrait of a Lady for Frédéric Malle, and Jean-Louis Sieuzac, the nose behind Opium, Fahrenheit and Dune. Each of the five fragrances corresponds to one of the artist’s paintings. The natural materials come from Laboratoire Monique Rémy, a world reference for natural essences. Each box holds an original signed and numbered drawing, which makes every bottle a collector’s piece.

Which Miles Wambaugh fragrance should I choose?
Cardamom runs through the whole collection, but each fragrance goes its own way. Sure Shot is the freshest, with its citrus and marine accord. Hot Shot softens around jasmine and vanilla. Coup d’État, the best seller, plays on the elegance of iris and lavender. Son of a Gun makes a statement with its peppery leather, and Mood for Oud dives into precious woods. All bottles are 75 ml.
