The fragrance

From the first seconds, you smell mysterious magnolia and osmanthus with its peachy, leathery notes. Pink pepper crackles, light but present. It is spicy, sensual, refined. Not sweet, not saccharine. Just white petals brushed by golden light: that moment when something soft carries real character.
At the heart, Moroccan rose arrives gently. It does not shout. Instead of dominating, it supports the warm florals and adds depth. Virginia cedar and smoked oak emerge gradually, bringing texture and warmth. You feel the contrast: florals in full bloom meet dry, smoky woods. This is where the fragrance shows its real strength, that balance between tenderness and gravity that few florals manage to hold.
In the base, tonka bean adds a softness that never turns sugary. Sensual musk holds you without crushing. Ambrox brings a harmonious union and a longevity you will still notice the next day. A light powderiness emerges, sophisticated, inviting closeness rather than distance.
This is a fragrance for you if you prefer things polished, intimate, understated. For evenings and the occasions that really matter. Unisex, but worn with confidence. You will not forget it, but it is others who will mention it first.

The brand

Thomas de Monaco is an independent perfume house founded in 2020 in Zurich by its eponymous creator, a Franco-Swiss artistic director and photographer. For more than twenty years, Thomas de Monaco shaped the visual language of the world’s leading luxury houses, Dior, Hermès, YSL, Armani, Cartier, and Rolex, while working in Paris, New York, and Zurich. It was his discovery of the Helmut Lang collection that marked a true turning point: a contemporary line, imbued with a subtle retro spirit, that continues to influence his work today. Perfume thus became another medium, the only one where the final image is not delivered by the creator but is constructed entirely in the wearer’s imagination. Based in the heart of a former Gustave Eiffel factory in Zurich, the house crafts its fragrances using artisanal methods, free from industrial constraints. Each fragrance is developed in close collaboration with perfumer Maurus Bachmann, under the creative direction of Thomas de Monaco. This is the essence of the house.” A designer house built on the conviction that fragrance is not simply worn, it complements the wearer.
