Atelier Materi is a French haute parfumerie house founded by Véronique Le Bihan, who is passionate about perfume, architecture and design. Its name comes from the Breton word “materi”, meaning material, in tribute to its founder’s roots and to Brittany, a land of raw, mineral and wild landscapes that runs through the entire world of the house.

The creative principle is as simple as it is demanding: each fragrance explores a natural raw material, precious, traditional or more unexpected, which the perfumer places at the center of contrasting accords to reveal its rarest facets. The result is a refined, contemporary and textured olfactory signature, as seen in creations such as Burgundy Oud, Vanille Carbone, Santal Blond and Cacao Porcelana.

Championing a discreet, honest luxury that respects time, the house works with artists and artisans at every stage, from harvesting raw materials to crafting bottles and boxes. Its midnight blue bottles evoke the Breton sea after a storm, topped with a concrete cap shaped like a pebble polished by the waves. For its extraits de parfum, the cap is adorned with gold, like a reflection of the golden hour on the waters of Brittany.
