The fragrance

Ten Fifteen captures that floating moment when time comes unstuck. 10.15am, but not really morning any more. The air is already heavy, a little cloudy, between smoke and heat, in a rock and backstage world. The perfume settles into that state: slow, diffuse, slightly hazy, where everything feels both calm and on edge. It is a nod to those suspended moments on tour, when time shifts, bearings slip and everything turns a little blurred, slowed down, almost cottony.

From the opening, the mood is set. A soft smoke, mixed with woody and slightly spicy notes, with something dry and a little dirty.

Then the perfume thickens. The notes become warmer and more comforting, with an amber facet that softens the whole without cleaning it up.

Over time, Ten Fifteen settles into a warm, smoky, slightly resinous base. The signature is dark, close and very atmospheric, like a scent that lingers in an empty room after someone has left.

The brand

ROOM 1015 is a niche perfume house founded in Paris in 2015 by Michael Partouche, a pharmacist by training and a musician at heart. His passion for psychedelic rock took him to London, where he played with his band for five years. Back in Paris, he looked for a third language, one that would bring together the pharmacist's precision and the musician's energy: perfume. The name comes from a hotel room. In the 1970s, the Continental Hyatt House in Los Angeles was the hangout of rock bands on tour. Legend has it that Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards threw a television out of room 1015, sending the hotel into rock history. Fragrance becomes a symbol of rebellion, a banner inspired by musical movements, philosophies and alternative spiritualities. A scented manifesto swinging between the punk movement, artificial paradises, the sexual revolution and transcendental meditation. Each perfume tells the story of a specific moment: Cherry Punk begins in Vivienne Westwood's shop, Hollyrose pays tribute to the groupies of Sunset Boulevard, Yesterday imagines The Beatles shaving together in a hotel bathroom. The compositions are signed by the Flair studio, founded by perfumers Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel.
