The fragrance

Jasmin Freak by ROOM 1015 is set in the middle of the night, heavy heat, artificial light. Somewhere between party and drift, where bodies move without restraint. The perfume belongs to that total freedom, that urge to exist unfiltered and break the rules.

From the opening, the jasmine arrives without restraint. Dense, almost stifling, with an animalic, slightly dirty facet. It is deliberately excessive, almost provocative, like a presence that is not out to please but to leave a mark.

Then the perfume turns more carnal. The notes thicken and take on a damp, almost addictive texture. The mood grows hazier, more physical, like a moment when limits vanish and everything becomes instinctive.

Over time, Jasmin Freak settles into a warm, musky, slightly amber base. The signature stays intense, unapologetic, almost unsettling, with that idea of transformation and free identity still resonating.

The brand

ROOM 1015 is a niche perfume house founded in Paris in 2015 by Michael Partouche, a pharmacist by training and a musician at heart. His passion for psychedelic rock took him to London, where he played with his band for five years. Back in Paris, he looked for a third language, one that would bring together the pharmacist's precision and the musician's energy: perfume. The name comes from a hotel room. In the 1970s, the Continental Hyatt House in Los Angeles was the hangout of rock bands on tour. Legend has it that Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards threw a television out of room 1015, sending the hotel into rock history. Fragrance becomes a symbol of rebellion, a banner inspired by musical movements, philosophies and alternative spiritualities. A scented manifesto swinging between the punk movement, artificial paradises, the sexual revolution and transcendental meditation. Each perfume tells the story of a specific moment: Cherry Punk begins in Vivienne Westwood's shop, Hollyrose pays tribute to the groupies of Sunset Boulevard, Yesterday imagines The Beatles shaving together in a hotel bathroom. The compositions are signed by the Flair studio, founded by perfumers Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel.
