Fiore d'Ambra is built around an amber accord softened by flowers, in a simple yet very expressive approach. From the opening, the fragrance settles into a warm, slightly sweet softness. The amber appears immediately, enveloping, almost melting, with a very present solar sensation. Then, the perfume becomes rounder and more sensual. The flowers smooth out the amber, giving it a softer, almost creamy texture, without ever breaking this impression of continuous warmth. The whole is fluid, seamless, like a warm wave that stretches out. Over time, Fiore d'Ambra settles into an even more enveloping base, where the amber becomes deeper, slightly musky, and very addictive. The signature is soft, solar, and persistent, with a true sensation of sun-warmed skin.

Profumum Roma is an Italian perfumery house founded in 1996 in Rome by four siblings: Giuseppe, Luciano, Maria, and Felice Durante. Their story began long before, in a village in Molise, where their grandfather Celestino returned from the war with little to his name. The village’s knife-grinders became the most important perfumers in the Eternal City. When the perfumery market shifted towards globalization and standardization, the four siblings no longer recognized themselves in it. They felt manipulated, no longer free in their own work. In 1996, they created Profumum Roma. It was a direct response to standardization: fragrances formulated with approximately 43% concentration, built around 8 to 10 essential raw materials, one of which is clearly predominant, so that each fragrance expresses an emotion rather than a generic accord. These are perfumes that evolve on the skin for hours, leaving a distinct impression as much as they accompany the wearer. What one wears with a Profumum Roma is a fragment of this journey: from the mountain village to the streets of Rome. An artisanal house, in the most natural sense of the term.
