The fragrance

Musc Panache gives that clean, fresh feeling, like just after a shower, but with a more elegant and comforting touch.

From the first notes there is a fresh, lightly powdery side that brings lightness. Then the musk takes over and gives a soft, almost cottony, very comfortable feel. As time passes the fragrance grows a little warmer, with woody nuances that stay discreet but add longevity.

The result is a simple, clean and elegant perfume that stays close to the skin with a soft, comforting feel.

The brand

Maison Rebatchi is a French perfume house founded in 2018 by Mohamed Rebatchi, born in Créteil in 1991, the son of Algerian emigrants, who on the face of it was destined for none of this. At twelve, he would secretly wander through perfume shops after school. He taught himself, sharpened his nose and learnt the materials. No school, no network, no money, only a conviction and a knowledge of scent that ended up surprising those in the know. The adventure took a decisive turn the day he contacted Karine Chevallier. That meeting led to others: Randa Hammami, then Maurice Roucel, then Bertrand Duchaufour. With each collaboration, the same reaction: surprise at his command of materials and his ability to push perfumers ever further. Drawn to the man as much as to the project, these great names gave him what the industry rarely grants the self-taught: their trust and a free hand. Every perfume from the house is the fruit of this dynamic. One perfumer, one emblematic raw material, one personal story. Bois d’enfant by Karine Chevallier summons the pine forests of the Vendée. Cuir Tassili by Aliénor Massenet crosses the Algerian desert. Feu Patchouli by Bertrand Duchaufour brings smoke and spice. Joyeux Osmanthe and Musc Panache bear the signature of Maurice Roucel. Creation by creation, an invisible bridge takes shape between two cultures, France and Algeria.
