The fragrance

Ambre Blanc feels clean and cosy, like a light warmth resting on the skin. The mood is soft, almost cottony, with something very soothing about it.

From the first notes there is a discreet freshness that brings lightness. Then the amber appears, but handled in a more airy way, softened by musks and lightly powdery notes. Over time the fragrance becomes creamier and more comforting while staying subtle and elegant.

The result is a delicate, luminous perfume, between softness, warmth and the feel of clean skin, and very easy to wear every day.

The brand

Maison Rebatchi is a French perfume house founded in 2018 by Mohamed Rebatchi, born in Créteil in 1991, the son of Algerian emigrants, who on the face of it was destined for none of this. At twelve, he would secretly wander through perfume shops after school. He taught himself, sharpened his nose and learnt the materials. No school, no network, no money, only a conviction and a knowledge of scent that ended up surprising those in the know. The adventure took a decisive turn the day he contacted Karine Chevallier. That meeting led to others: Randa Hammami, then Maurice Roucel, then Bertrand Duchaufour. With each collaboration, the same reaction: surprise at his command of materials and his ability to push perfumers ever further. Drawn to the man as much as to the project, these great names gave him what the industry rarely grants the self-taught: their trust and a free hand. Every perfume from the house is the fruit of this dynamic. One perfumer, one emblematic raw material, one personal story. Bois d’enfant by Karine Chevallier summons the pine forests of the Vendée. Cuir Tassili by Aliénor Massenet crosses the Algerian desert. Feu Patchouli by Bertrand Duchaufour brings smoke and spice. Joyeux Osmanthe and Musc Panache bear the signature of Maurice Roucel. Creation by creation, an invisible bridge takes shape between two cultures, France and Algeria.
