A forgotten island off the coast of Yemen, the apricots of Turkey, a night of incense under a crescent moon: at Loumari, every fragrance starts from a place or a moment. Almeria, Amber Malatya, Aomak, Maydan, Noble Cavale, Porthole, Radanfor and Saja are waiting to be smelled at Sayhar, rue de Marignan, Paris 8th, or explored online.
The Loumari house
Loumari is an independent perfume house based in Paris. Its idea: to bring French fine perfumery into conversation with the olfactory heritage of the Middle East, its incense, resins, spices and ouds. Rather than choosing between Western freshness and Eastern opulence, the house lets them share the same bottle. Aomak pairs mint and ginger with Moroccan rose, while Amber Malatya sets apricot over a Cambodian oud. To compose its fragrances, Loumari works with renowned perfumers: Julien Rasquinet, Amélie Bourgeois, Christian Provenzano and Camille Chemardin. The range comes as extrait de parfum, for longevity and sillage worthy of the materials. A young house, but one whose creations have already found an audience well beyond France.
