Oud Aquilaria offers a refined, precisely crafted oud that keeps its depth while remaining wearable.

From the opening, the fragrance makes an intense woody statement, with an oud you notice straight away, deep yet surprisingly clean. There is a lightly smoky, resinous feel that gives it character. The whole is structured, almost dry, with a real sense of nobility.

Over time, the fragrance grows rounder and warmer. The woody notes soften slightly, revealing a cosier, elegant side. The base becomes smoother and more harmonious, while keeping that lasting, sophisticated woody signature. Oud stays at the centre of the fragrance from start to finish, but moves from raw intensity to a calmer elegance.

Oman Luxury is a niche perfume house founded in 2012 in Muscat by three Omanis, Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed, brought together by a shared passion for fragrance and the belief that their country had something unique to offer the world. Oman is no ordinary country in the history of perfume. The Dhofar region, in the south of the sultanate, is home to Boswellia sacra, the finest and rarest frankincense tree on the planet, whose steep mountains and limestone soil are the only conditions on earth in which it can thrive. Omanis burn this frankincense to welcome a guest, to celebrate a birth, or simply before leaving the house. Fragrance there is not an accessory, it is a language. It was on this ground that Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed set out to build their house. Rather than stick to the codes of traditional Oriental perfumery, they chose to work with some of the greatest international noses to translate this heritage into contemporary compositions: Dominique Ropion, Maurice Roucel and Jean-Louis Sieuzac, among others. These rare collaborations give Oman Luxury a depth unusual for an independent house of its size. This is a perfume house that does not try to imitate the East to win over the West, but speaks from within it, with all the precision and ambition of contemporary luxury.
