Caden by Oman Luxury is a spicy, gourmand fragrance about warmth, sharing and intensity. Inspired by Omani culture and the idea of hospitality, it speaks of the bond between people, shared moments and traditions handed down. Its name actually means 'companion', in that same spirit of human warmth and conviviality.

How to wear it

Apply two or three sprays to the neck and wrists, plus one on fabric to make the warmer notes last. Apply it to moisturised skin for better hold, and go lighter in the heat.

The fragrance

Caden is warm, rich and almost cocooning from the very start. The opening is spicy and lightly smoky, with a boozy edge that makes it feel alive, almost festive. Then the fragrance grows denser, with a leathery, resinous texture that adds relief and a deeper side.

In the heart, coffee and suede bring a darker, more textured feel, while vanilla softens the whole with creamy sweetness. The base turns warmer and more melting, with a signature that stays on the skin, somewhere between gourmand comfort and woody depth.

The brand

Oman Luxury is a niche perfume house founded in 2012 in Muscat by three Omanis, Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed, brought together by a shared passion for fragrance and the belief that their country had something unique to offer the world. Oman is no ordinary country in the history of perfume. The Dhofar region, in the south of the sultanate, is home to Boswellia sacra, the finest and rarest frankincense tree on the planet, whose steep mountains and limestone soil are the only conditions on earth in which it can thrive. Omanis burn this frankincense to welcome a guest, to celebrate a birth, or simply before leaving the house. Fragrance there is not an accessory, it is a language. It was on this ground that Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed set out to build their house. Rather than stick to the codes of traditional Oriental perfumery, they chose to work with some of the greatest international noses to translate this heritage into contemporary compositions: Dominique Ropion, Maurice Roucel and Jean-Louis Sieuzac, among others. These rare collaborations give Oman Luxury a depth unusual for an independent house of its size. This is a perfume house that does not try to imitate the East to win over the West, but speaks from within it, with all the precision and ambition of contemporary luxury.
