Umhh opens directly, with woody amber bringing instant warmth. The fragrance then develops around a blend of exotic woods, which adds depth and a very 'material', almost tactile feel.

Over time, cedarwood comes forward and leaves a dry, clean, elegant sillage. It stays fairly linear but full of volume, like wood slowly warming on the skin.

There is also the idea the brand puts forward: a blend of woods worked in an almost 'mystical' way, with something raw, instinctive, almost primal in how it feels.

Morph is an Italian niche perfume house founded in Naples in 2013 by Andrea Angelino. Its premise is simple and radical: a perfume must have character, depth and an identity of its own. The name says it all. Morph as in metamorphosis, that perpetual movement between who we are and who we become. The bottle, made by Bormioli Luigi, one of Italy's most renowned master glassmakers, embodies this idea: a tall rectangular silhouette, a three-dimensional logo that seems frozen mid-movement and a shiny silver cap symbolising transformation. The Luxury Collection offers compositions that are both intense and refined, made to last. Les Exclusifs take concentration even further, towards extraits de parfum that reveal their many facets on the skin over the hours. The Ice Collection explores fresher, more energetic territory, for those who want vivacity rather than depth.
