Akigala Mandarino plays with akigalawood, which brings a woody, slightly pungent, and almost vibrant dimension that "tightens" the mandarin. The fruit becomes less round, less sweet, drier, almost incisive. We move from a sunny citrus to something more taut.
Over time, this tension remains. The freshness doesn't completely disappear, but it's supported by a woody and spicy base that creates a more grounded, almost mineral sensation at times.
Akigala Mandarino aims to deconstruct an overly obvious citrus by infusing it with spicy and woody notes, to create something more edgy, more contemporary.
