The Fragrance

Good Girl Gone Bad opens with a subtle and delicate floral symphony. The top notes evoke freshly bloomed flowers, with a creamy and rounded texture that unfolds gently. There's a solar and almost carnal sensation, yet always fluid, never heavy. Over time, the fragrance settles on the skin, becoming softer and more enveloping, with a clean yet sensual feel. The overall impression remains luminous but develops a depth that makes it addictive. It's a fragrance that skillfully plays on a nuanced transition between floral freshness and delicate sensuality, offering a true living skin sensation.

The brand

Kilian Paris is a perfume house founded in 2007 by Kilian Hennessy, the eighth-generation direct descendant of Richard Hennessy, founder of the eponymous cognac house, and grandson of the patriarch who oversaw the creation of LVMH. It's a heritage he chose to honor in his own way by taking a radically personal direction. It all started with a master's thesis at Celsa on the semantics of smells, followed by training with the greatest perfumers, Jacques Cavallier and Thierry Wasser, before years spent at Dior and Armani. The decision to create his own house came from a visit to the Baccarat museum: confronted with a century of perfumery condensed into object-like bottles, Kilian understood that something had been lost along the way. He resigned the next day. His founding conviction is encapsulated in one sentence: "True luxury should be eternal." All Kilian Paris bottles have been refillable since day one in 2007, long before sustainability became a marketing argument. The collections are organized around dualities between sin and innocence, light and darkness, love and forbidden, all within four olfactory families: Fresh Citrus, Narcotics, Cellar Woods, and Smokes. Angel's Share pays homage to the vapors from the Cognac cellars of his childhood. Love, Don't Be Shy - Extreme has become a modern classic of sensual vanilla. Kilian Paris perfumes all tell a story and fully embrace their motto: Don't be shy.
